We are a resource for homeschooling parents looking to build a community for their children and to experience a “classroom style” education. Responsibility for the children’s education is ultimately placed upon the parents who are required to report to their individual school district. We are available to help you with this process if you are not familiar.
According to Deuteronomy chapter 6, responsibility for children’s education is ultimately placed upon the parents by God. Deuteronomy 6:4-7 states: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
All true education must be built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, because as Paul says in Acts 17:28, "For it is in him that we live and move and have our being." Colossians 2:2-3 states that "in Christ are found all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." And finally, 1 Timothy 1:5-7 says, "But the goal of our instruction is love which springs from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” This describes heart and character transformation rather than behavior management. In addition, we do not want to feed our children or yours –a diet of dry facts that we teach them to spit out on a test. We want them to learn to think! We want to help them love God, love others as they love themselves, and enjoy this amazing creation and all of the subjects that stem out of it.
