BSU Underground is a young adult outreach to Bridgewater State University (BSU) students. Most people in the state of Massachusetts have been or are being raised outside of the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus. The battle for young minds, specifically, is at its peak, with universities attempting to dismantle the very nature of truth.
In 2024, MeetingHouse Church had an incredible opportunity to partner with Christ Community Church, and together we transformed a building in Bridgewater, just a short walking distance from campus, into a new ministry space. The goal of BSU Underground is to reach the students of Bridgewater State with God’s life-changing Word. Every Monday night from 6:30-8pm, young adults gather for community at our Bridgewater building. The group has monthly “Got Questions?” discussions, along with Bible studies and game nights. Every Tuesday from 6:30-8pm, more young adults gather for specific discipleship training and outreach strategies. Throughout the semester, we also offer worship nights and other community events for Bridgewater students.
We must realize that the place we’re living in is a mission field, and we need all of our young adults to join in the battle for souls.
