MANSFIELD LEAD TEAM
JIM & SANDY O'NEILL
Jim and Sandy have been in ministry for over 30 years, leading youth ministry and retreats, family ministry, and men’s ministry and women’s ministry and retreats.
Jim was in full-time ministry as an Associate Pastor during his last 10 years of ministry. Beyond the responsibilities of preaching and teaching the word,
Jim has worked with Gordan Conwell Theological seminary, involved in Cohorts to help aid in the revitalization of Churches in New England. Jim also worked with Liberty University and the Liberty Church Network to gather networks of pastors with the goal of church revitalization and share best practices.
Jim had the opportunity to be a break out speaker at the Refuel Conference at Liberty University to address pastors from all over the country on the topic of revitalization.
In 2018, Jim came into a revitalization work with MeetingHouse Church Mansfield, where he is now the Senior Pastor. The church was down to twelve people, and its closing was near. Jim and Sandy have started the ministry there with three basic objectives and trusting solely on God for the results:
1. The preaching of the word – Returning the pulpit to expository teaching of scripture to aid in the growth of the congregation.
2. Prayer – Instead of relying on programs, relying on God through asking and petitioning Him through corporate prayer, that we may experience God’s power and love for His church.
3. To the fellowship – To love our congregation with an unconditional love.
He has been married to his beautiful wife Sandy for 39 years. God blessed them with three children—Bruce O’Neill, Michelle Roache, and Stephanie O’Neill—a daughter- in law, Jenny O’Neill, and a son in law Matthew Roache. They have eight grand children ranging in age from five to thirteen years old.
JIM OUELLETTE
Jim grew up in Portland, Maine, and had a zeal for God at a very young age. He went on to play football and study Theology at Assumption College where he met his wife Julie. While studying the Bible just prior to his senior year in college, God awoke Jim from the dead and called him to a life in Jesus Christ.
Since that time 20 years ago, he has been heavily involved in church life, often in various leadership roles. His full-time job is as a management consultant in the financial services industry. Jim and Julie live in Foxboro, MA, where they homeschool their three daughters, Gina, Meghan, and Hannah.
He enjoys camping with his family, doing cross-fit along with his wife and daughters, digging into God’s Word, and reading various books on theology.
BOBBY HEARN
God gloriously saved Bobby after 20 years of rigid atheism—a dramatic conversion much like the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus. (He’d love to share the testimony with you if you’d like to hear it!)
That was over 21 years ago. Since then, God has been using him to serve in a variety of ways. For 18 years he led a home group study, served in prison ministry for 11 years, for nearly10 years served as an Awana ministry leader with his wife, Kim, taught children’s Sunday School, been a leader in men’s ministries, and other ministries as needed. Currently, he is one of the Sunday morning Bible study teachers and occasionally preaches a Sunday sermon.
He and Kim have been married for 32 years and have 3 homeschooled teenage children who walk with the Lord: Derek, Amber, and Jenna. Derek and Amber have graduated and have full time jobs. The youngest, Jenna, has a part time job during the summer and after school. Kim and the kids also serve in different ministries at church. Special church events will always find the Hearn family serving in some way needed to the glory of God!
His greatest delights, besides the Lord, are his wife and kids, leading someone to the Lord, teaching the Word of God, the church, playing softball, and riding his motorcycle!
